Description

You will design and maintain backend systems for a chatbot conversation engine processing millions of daily interactions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs for internal agent dashboards and external integrations.
• Build scalable, resilient systems for automatic issue routing based on event streams.
• Develop medium to large-scale server-side software with a focus on performance.
• Write unit, functional, and regression tests to ensure code reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software meeting business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in medium/large scale server-side software development.
• Proficiency in Java and Clojure.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Kafka for event streaming.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithm time complexity.
• Experience with Git and unit testing frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with functional programming and JVM internals.
• Knowledge of benchmarking systems for performance and failure detection.
• Familiarity with generative testing and POSIX compliant operating systems.
