Description

You will design and implement enhancements for systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking utilities, and databases. You analyze design specifications to determine coding and integration activities, then execute testing plans and debug issues while suggesting improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and program limited enhancements for subsystems of systems software.
• Analyze design requirements to determine coding, programming, and integration activities.
• Execute testing plans, write protocols, and debug code issues.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced partners on design status and issue resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with system design and database design.
• Competence in testing, debugging, and networking fundamentals.
• 2-4 years of experience in software development and systems engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud architectures, microservices, and DevOps.
• Experience with packet forwarding systems and data center technologies.
