Description

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable data applications and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data warehousing solutions and big data pipelines using Spark, Scala, and Python.
• Develop, test, debug, and deploy applications with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with product owners to evaluate data requirements and integrate AI technologies into banking solutions.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and ensure data governance and risk management standards.
• Participate in code reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with formal training in engineering concepts.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, SQL, and Data Warehousing.
• Experience with Big Data technologies and Cloud Computing on AWS.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and their application in engineering workflows.
• Understanding of Data Mining and Predictive Analytics.
• Familiarity with Star Schema design and Business Intelligence tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ab Initio, Informatica, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI practices.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration/Delivery processes.
