Description

Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for automating deployment, configuration, and testing processes. Own Helpshift production services, ensuring complete monitoring coverage and resolving production issues. Build zero-downtime upgrade processes for core infrastructure including ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, MongoDB, and Redis. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code templates for provisioning and configuring cloud resources securely. Monitor and respond to production incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation activities. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance for their professional development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems and networking protocols.
• Expertise in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools: Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Linux administration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Heroku, NoSQL/RDBMS management, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Hadoop, Shell, Perl, or security assessments.
