Description

You will build and maintain secure software applications using modern web frameworks and backend technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write and ship secure code adhering to defined coding standards and internal security SLAs.
• Investigate security issues and implement effective remediation or mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with peers to design pragmatic technical solutions.
• Perform independent research to frame problems and resolve complex technical issues.
• Apply secure coding best practices to all stages of the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java or .NET and associated frameworks.
• Experience with JavaScript and frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.js.
• Working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 security risks.
• Experience operating within an Agile environment.
• Ability to use security tools to identify and resolve application vulnerabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience or a strong interest in pursuing a dedicated application security role.
