Good to Have Skills: Experience with Python or PySpark scripts, building and maintaining ETL pipelines in AWS, exposure to data lake and analytics solutions, event-driven technologies such as Kafka, SNS/SQS, or EventBridge, knowledge of Docker, containerization, and observability platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build, optimize, and maintain secure, scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and develop backend services, APIs, and microservices for commerce applications.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, and event-driven architectures.
- Structure, optimize, and scale MongoDB databases, including indexing and data modeling.
- Work with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture patterns for scalable solutions.
- Architect and deploy serverless functions alongside traditional backend applications for optimal performance.
- Build reliable, highly available, and cost-efficient solutions for global marketing operations.
- Maintain and enhance automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments across multiple environments.
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices for efficient operations.
- Participate in monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability initiatives for production systems.
- Implement and maintain unit and integration testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to React-based applications when required.
- Produce clear technical documentation and design artifacts for team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and engineering excellence initiatives within the team.
Experience Required: 3-5 years of software development experience with strong hands-on experience in Node.js and TypeScript. 1+ years of experience working with databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB. 2+ years of experience working with AWS and cloud engineering principles.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
