Description

You will design, develop, and troubleshoot mainframe-based components to ensure application stability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and troubleshoot software applications while managing technical dependencies.
• Write secure, high-quality code considering upstream and downstream system impacts.
• Execute standard software solutions and develop multiple technical product components.
• Apply SDLC tools to automate processes and improve development workflows.
• Troubleshoot technical problems using established methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in system design and application development.
• Hands-on proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, VSAM, and CICS.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of application resiliency and security practices.
• Ability to gather and analyze diverse data sets to identify issues.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end or cloud technologies.
• Experience within the Banking domain.
