Description

You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of software modules for PC-based and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design choices for new product development and maintenance activities.
• Lead technical maintenance and field issue resolution with local and distributed teams.
• Review and approve module designs, code, and defect fixes to ensure deliverable quality.
• Identify technical risks and collaborate with project managers on mitigation and recovery plans.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to development and test teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, and .NET application development.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design pattern expertise.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server Express or pgSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with version control and CI tools including Git, SVN, Gerrit, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Experience using Visual Studio, Eclipse, BitBucket, and Jira.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Lean, Agile, CI, and software security.
• Background in PC-based or embedded systems development.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of healthcare domain regulations and medical software development standards.
