Description

You will develop and debug software features for GPNTS tactical and support systems, owning the full lifecycle from design to continuous delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and enhance software features for tactical and support systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex system-level issues involving software, networking, and sensor data.
• Create and maintain automated tests and support continuous integration pipelines.
• Participate in software design, interface definitions, and architectural discussions.
• Collaborate with systems engineering to verify requirements and ensure traceability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: C, C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience with Linux development, debugging tools, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and iterative team workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related STEM field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure software development principles.
• Experience with containerization, infrastructure-as-code, or embedded systems.
• Understanding of networking, sensor integration, or military navigation systems.
