Description

You will build and maintain large-scale data processing systems and ETL pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and enhance large-scale ETL batch jobs to transform massive datasets.
• Build utilities and toolkits to automate engineering tasks and consolidate manual data investigation steps.
• Investigate and debug complex technical issues within data pipelines.
• Track, analyze, and report system issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Solid understanding of data processing concepts and the data engineering lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate closely with diverse technical teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data processing frameworks like Spark/Hadoop.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and workflow management tools (Apache Airflow).
