You will maintain mainframe system security, compliance, and audit readiness through advanced z/OS administration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced z/OS systems administration, including configuration, upgrades, and break/fix support.
• Manage user access controls, security profiles, and certificate renewals (TLS/SSL, RSA keys, SFTP, FTPS).
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Support mainframe production control, scheduled jobs, and batch processing.
• Coordinate with network, customer support, and application teams to ensure stable daily operations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Top Secret Security (TSS).
• 5+ years of hands-on z/OS administration experience.
• 5+ years working with JES2, z/OS UNIX System Services (OMVS), and Storage Management Subsystem (SMS).
• 3+ years of experience with TLS configuration, including certificates, SSL, RSA keys, SFTP, and FTPS.
• Strong understanding of mainframe security, compliance, auditing, and risk mitigation.
• Working knowledge of z/OS Operations and z/OS Networking (VTAM, TCP/IP).
• Experience with TSO, VSAM, GRS, and JCL.
• Familiarity with RMF and SMF.
