Description

You will design, develop, and maintain features for the Junos Evolved network operating system platform, focusing on system bring-up and hardware interface integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain high-performance system software in C and C++ for carrier-class networking hardware.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within platform interfaces, optics, and system software.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and drive architectural discussions.
• Lead documentation initiatives and participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in networking and system software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming with a strong grasp of Object Oriented Design.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS concepts and Linux Kernel internals.
• Experience with Linux Device Drivers, System Bring-up, and Data Structures.
• Strong background in System Debugging and Hardware Design.
• Knowledge of Networking protocols and interfaces.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Architectures, DevOps, or Microservices.
• Familiarity with PCIe, SPI, I2C, MDIO, FPGA, CPLD, or Flash Drivers.
