Description

You will develop practical neural interface technologies and user interfaces for desktop and Android platforms, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and reusable, well-tested code components.

Responsibilities

• Present designs, prototypes, and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Research and Engineering teams to execute and complete user experiences.
• Implement custom user interfaces using current programming techniques and technologies.
• Develop reusable software components for interfacing with backend platforms.
• Own specific components, features, or systems with a focus on maintainability and testability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience building maintainable and testable codebases.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
• Experience building Android applications in Java or Kotlin using the Android SDK.
• Exposure to architectural patterns for large-scale software applications.
• Strong API design and unit testing techniques.
• Ability to interact and align with researchers and product partners on concept creation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building complex applications for iPhone or iPad using Objective-C, C++, or Swift with the iOS SDK.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and mobile memory management.
