You will build and maintain applications and services that power YouTube Music across a diverse ecosystem of partner devices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain services enabling music access across various platforms and partner devices.
• Develop integrations for wearables, automotive systems, and smart speakers.
• Handle information at massive scale using distributed computing and advanced data storage techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality music experiences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Full Stack Development.
• Strong foundation in System Design and Distributed Computing.
• Experience with Information Retrieval and Data Storage.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing.
• Ability to work with large-scale data beyond traditional web search applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UI design and mobile development.
• Knowledge of networking and large-scale system design.
• Background in hardware and software integrations, including wearables, automotive systems, or smart speakers.
