Description

You will implement and scale core identity platform services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services in Go for authentication, authorization, and GitHub Apps.
• Evolve services to be geo-redundant across Azure regions to maintain low latency and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and platform teams to ship features balancing usability, security, and scale.
• Participate in on-call rotations to meet availability targets (99.95%+).
• Contribute to frontend workflows using React/TypeScript to ensure end-to-end user experiences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in Go, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript for frontend contributions.
• Proven track record of maintaining and delivering production software.
• Ability to write and test maintainable, high-quality code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with highly scalable identity, access management, or developer platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tooling and designing for system operability.
• Experience building GitHub Apps or using GitHub APIs.
