Description

Lead the design, implementation, and architectural strategy for a large-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the organizational IAM strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and industry standards.
• Lead the development of a full-scale IAM solution, focusing on secure customer identity management and scalable architecture.
• Mentor a team of engineers to design, build, and maintain complex IAM solution sets.
• Integrate IAM services with various internal applications and APIs using RESTful interfaces.
• Collaborate with security, TechOps, and IT teams to ensure robust security controls, compliance, and data protection.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on large-scale, greenfield system design and architecture.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Java and proficiency in at least one additional programming language.
• 5+ years of experience managing IAM, SSO, and MFA tools within a large enterprise environment.
• Deep understanding of IAM protocols and standards, including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Hands-on experience with Keycloak and integrating IAM services via RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and design patterns such as circuit breakers.
• Practical experience with database management systems, caching strategies, and message queues.
• Expertise in developing access controls, authentication, authorization, and auditing processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Go, C#, or JavaScript.
• Background working within hobby, gaming, or collectibles communities.
