Description

You will support the development, provisioning, and checkout of Python/ROS2-based systems using COTS hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update device drivers to ensure optimal system performance.
• Implement provisioning process improvements through automation and scripting.
• Conduct software checkout and troubleshooting on testbeds and hardware.
• Contribute to system reliability and performance enhancements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C/C++ (embedded/RTOS/Linux) and Python (tools/automation).
• Strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2, instrumentation/control systems, driver/platform debugging, or data acquisition.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools.
• 5+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Ansible and Bash.
• Familiarity with EtherCAT and/or motor drivers.
