Description

You build machine learning models and infrastructure for the Content Trust Platform to auto-moderate user-generated content on Google Maps at massive scale.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to detect fraud, abuse, and quality issues in user-generated content.
• Design and maintain distributed computing infrastructure to handle data volumes exceeding web search capabilities.
• Create rules, tools, and workflows that enable efficient content moderation and trust enforcement.
• Solve complex computer science problems to improve map accuracy and user experience across Google products.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques.
• Strong background in Distributed Computing systems.
• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Experience building scalable systems that handle information at massive scale.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with computer vision or geospatial data processing.
• Background in building content moderation or trust and safety platforms.
