Description

You will manage database development and system modifications within a project team environment.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing databases and database management systems to meet project requirements.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and identifiers.
• Coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations within a team.
• Review project requests to estimate time and cost required for database user needs.
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement changes to resolve technical problems.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in software development or database management.
• Proficiency with SQL and VisualBasic.
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and delivery.
• Experience in business/systems analysis and functional specification authoring.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
• Capacity to provide mentoring and constructive performance feedback to others.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
