Role Summary

Seeking a Software Engineer III / Platform Infrastructure Engineer to support Build and CI infrastructure across three large-scale monorepos. The role focuses on maintaining and improving developer-facing systems, including GitHub Enterprise (GHE), CI infrastructure, build agents, and CI developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve CI/build failures and production issues.

Manage CI capacity, build agents, and infrastructure reliability.

Support GitHub Enterprise and developer workflows.

Handle urgent technical requests and coordinate cross-functional incident resolution.

Troubleshoot issues across interconnected build and infrastructure systems.

Partner with engineering teams to improve CI reliability and developer productivity.

Develop broad platform knowledge while going deep on complex technical problems.

Required Experience

Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD and large-scale developer/platform infrastructure.

Experience operating and troubleshooting infrastructure in production environments.

Working knowledge of Build systems, preferably Bazel.

Experience with CI agents, build infrastructure, and developer tooling.

Strong troubleshooting, ownership, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively across teams and navigate unclear ownership.
