Description

You will design and execute testing strategies for data-driven applications in the banking and finance sector.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure software quality.
• Test and validate RESTful APIs using JSON and Postman.
• Perform data validation against relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop automation scripts and testing frameworks using Python.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience with JSON, RESTful APIs, and Postman.
• 4+ years of experience testing relational databases and Cloud Data Warehouses (preferably Snowflake).
• 4+ years of experience creating and executing test strategies.
• 2+ years of Python programming experience.
• 2+ years of implementation experience in banking or finance.
• Proficiency in Software Testing, Manual Testing, and Test Automation.
• Experience with Jira.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work/military experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JMeter, PgAdmin, GitLab, Kafka, Swagger, Kibana, or AWS.
• Programming experience with PostgreSQL, Snowsql, or Go.
