Description

You design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, regression, and smoke testing. You own critical-path UI automation for key agent workflows while prioritizing API and integration layer coverage for speed and signal quality. You integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment safety and release confidence.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build automated validation coverage for backend services, APIs, and end-to-end workflows supporting CS Tech experiences.
• Debug failures and product issues across UI interactions, network calls, APIs, and dependent services.
• Improve test reliability, suite execution time, and automation maintainability through strong engineering practices.
• Partner with engineers and product managers to define practical test strategy early in the delivery lifecycle.
• Support release validation, defect prevention, and root-cause analysis for complex quality issues.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, or SDET roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience building and maintaining UI automation for modern web applications.
• Strong experience testing backend APIs, including request/response and integration validation.
• Experience developing automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD workflows.
• Strong understanding of integration testing, regression strategy, and smoke coverage.
• Experience working in Agile environments with Git-based workflows and code reviews.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with customer support systems, workflow orchestration, or enterprise integrations.
• Experience with cloud-native systems, Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed environments.
• Familiarity with observability platforms using logs, metrics, traces, and alerting.
