Description

Focus on testing and maintaining large data processing systems within the Spark framework.

Responsibilities

• Own technical test design and execution within an Agile Scrum team, emphasizing automation and scripting.
• Build and implement automation improvements for core processes and publishing cycles to drive data quality.
• Collaborate with software engineers to expand test automation frameworks and increase test coverage.
• Document test strategies and plans by translating complex system requirements into testing methods.
• Participate in Agile SAFe scrum, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, and Databricks.
• Experience working with AWS cloud-based server environments.
• Ability to create acceptance and integration test automation scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of algorithms and processing complexity related to big data.
• Experience with bug tracking and collaboration tools like Jira.
• In-depth knowledge of one or more Internet protocols.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
