Description

You will own test framework maintenance, automation coverage, and quality observability for distributed payment systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Playwright test suite, shared utilities, and test data scaffolding within the established framework.
• Build and expand test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers for microservices.
• Execute load and performance tests on critical payment workflows using k6, JMeter, or Artillery.
• Validate async, event-driven workflows including SQS, EventBridge, and Lambda invocations.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to support quality gates and maintain signal quality.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of professional experience in test engineering or technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Playwright for UI automation.
• Experience with AWS services including SQS, EventBridge, and Lambda.
• Strong skills in API testing and test automation.
• Experience with load and performance testing tools (k6, JMeter, or Artillery).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with React, Jest, and other frontend testing tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Bitbucket Pipelines.
