Description

You will design, develop, and maintain back-end applications and web services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement back-end applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring frameworks.
• Build and consume RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate functional code and enhance user experience.
• Troubleshoot issues by analyzing data, processes, and code to drive improvements.
• Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of products within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Java programming experience.
• Expertise in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring frameworks.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with RDBMS databases, JDBC, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of distributed architecture, Microservices, XML, JSON, and messaging.
• Knowledge of modern Java APIs, JavaScript, and Angular JS.
• Practical experience with build frameworks, source code control, Jira, and ALM tools.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Application development on AWS Cloud.
• Unix and Shell scripting basics.
• Understanding of Energy & Utilities solutions.
