Software Engineer (Information Security)

You will manage security infrastructure and develop code to improve business data and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage Symantec DLP upgrades, patches, and architecture design including rules and policies.
• Deploy and configure McAfee ePO and endpoint management infrastructure.
• Oversee security tools including SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing.
• Analyze security incidents, research alerts, and perform log retrieval and documentation.
• Develop new code to improve processes, functionality, and troubleshooting for business operations software.

Required Skills

• Experience with SIEM tools including Splunk, IBM QRadar, and McAfee ASM.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with CyberArk, Solarwinds, Nexpose, and Forcepoint.
• Ability to deploy in Cloud and on-premises environments using AWS.
• Knowledge of FISMA, HIPAA, and NIST compliance standards.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools such as QualysGuard, Nessus, Nmap, and Rapid7.
• Understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 9 months of experience in the role including identified technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining and updating corporate and production network equipment and software applications.
