Description

You will lead the development of purchase platforms, focusing on payments infrastructure, while mentoring junior engineers and driving technical projects from start to finish.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new features for purchase platforms, specifically improving payments infrastructure.
• Design and implement high-volume, high-availability microservices in a cloud-based architecture.
• Conduct code reviews and utilize pair-programming to mentor peers and ensure code quality.
• Create clear documentation and diagrams to drive technical understanding and action.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with C# (ASP.NET/.NET Core).
• Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Proficiency with event/stream processing mechanisms, specifically Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, or Azure Bus.
• Experience designing and developing microservices in a cloud-based architecture (preferably AWS).
• Strong technical leadership and mentorship skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Omni-Channel ecommerce and transaction-based applications.
• Front-end experience with Vue.js.
