Description

You will develop and maintain software for prototype devices, focusing on efficient and accurate data collection across audio and other modalities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack systems for data collection, processing, and validation.
• Deploy, test, and evaluate upgrades to the data collection platform.
• Develop and maintain monitoring systems to ensure system health and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and debug issues onsite, working with cross-functional teams to triage and estimate problems.
• Promote engineering best practices across the team of engineers and researchers.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional programming experience with demonstrated proficiency in large-scale Python projects.
• Full stack software development experience, including RESTful distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically using GitHub or GitLab.
• Skills in maintaining and improving network infrastructure.
• BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in React or similar frontend frameworks in JavaScript.
• Experience with FastAPI for backend development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Android Development and working with hardware multimedia sensors.
• Working knowledge of time-synchronization, audio, image, and video formats.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and systems administration on Windows.
