Description

Design and develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Core Java and the Spring framework. Manage AWS infrastructure and implement system design principles for synchronous and asynchronous event processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build microservices and RESTful APIs with Core Java and Spring.
• Implement system design for synchronous and asynchronous event processing.
• Manage AWS services including SQS, SNS, S3, EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, and Route 53.
• Write unit and automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture improvements within an Agile team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Core Java and Spring framework expertise.
• Experience with Microservices and REST API development.
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: SQS, SNS, S3, EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, and Route 53.
• Knowledge of system design and event processing (sync and async).
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong unit and automated testing skills.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree in a related field.
