Description

You will develop and maintain rule-driven microservices using Java and Drools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into Drools rules using DRL, Decision Tables, and DMN.
• Develop microservices and integrate Drools with Spring Boot, MongoDB, and external systems.
• Optimize rule execution performance by managing conflicts and ensuring memory efficiency.
• Manage the rule lifecycle, including versioning, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with analysts and architects to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java and J2EE application development.
• Proven expertise in Drools rule engine development and business rule management.
• Experience building microservices with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Knowledge of rule optimization techniques and performance tuning in Drools.
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB and enterprise system integration.
• Strong proficiency in JUnit for unit testing and debugging complex rule interactions.
• Ability to work in agile, cross-functional development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
