Description

You will design and build scalable backend systems supporting enterprise initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and integration of backend applications and services.
• Design and build high-performance APIs, data solutions, and event-driven services.
• Participate in solution design discussions and make technical decisions as an engineer or technical leader.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable applications using Java with Spring Boot and Groovy.
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and API contracts.
• Experience with event-based systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience developing and running containerized applications using Docker.
• Strong SQL experience working with relational databases like DB2 or SQL Server.
• Experience working within AWS-based cloud environments.
• Prior tech lead or solution lead experience guiding technical decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes experience.
