Description

Build and maintain Java backend applications and optimize Spark jobs for data processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE backend applications across the full SDLC.
• Build and optimize Spark jobs for data processing and integration workflows.
• Implement JSON handling, including parsing, transformation, and validation.
• Write and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL queries and support persistence using JPA/Hibernate.
• Manage code via Bitbucket and support deployments using Linux/Shell scripting in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 6-9 years of experience in Java/J2EE backend development and Spark-based data processing.
• Strong core Java concepts, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Backend development experience with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on Spark development and strong SQL skills (Oracle SQL/PLSQL).
• Proficiency with JSON file handling and Linux/Unix commands.
• Experience with shell scripting for deployment support.
