Description

Build and maintain backend services, manage event-driven architectures, and support full-stack delivery for distributed applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend components using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain distributed systems leveraging Kafka for event-driven communication.
• Collaborate with business analysts and infrastructure teams to align technical designs with functional requirements and hosting environments.
• Write unit tests, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in functional testing to ensure code quality.
• Support front-end development in Angular and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend engineering proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and event streaming.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle or similar systems.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Front-end development skills with Angular.
• Ability to work across the full stack, focusing on backend and messaging components.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building cloud-native or distributed applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
