Description

You will build and maintain distributed, event-driven microservices using Java, Go, and Scala.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement microservices using Akka, Lagom, or Go RPC frameworks.
• Design event-driven architectures following DDD, CQRS, and Event Sourcing patterns.
• Develop and manage data streams using Apache Kafka and Akka Streams.
• Write unit tests using ScalaTest and manage code security via Fortify and Sonatype.
• Participate in Scrum processes including story writing and task estimation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (Lambda expressions, generics, exception handling) and Go.
• Experience with Scala (Type inference, Immutability, Pattern matching, Traits, Futures).
• Hands-on knowledge of gRPC with Protocol Buffers.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Multithreading, and Design Patterns.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redshift, and SQL.
• Proficiency with AWS services, Docker, and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
• Competency in Git, Gradle, Maven, or SBT.
• Experience with HTTP REST principles and API management via APIEE.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and CQRS.
• Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA for Go development.
