Description

You will develop and implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms to optimize renewable energy system performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement ML, DL, and LLM algorithms to improve energy system design.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to solve technical problems and manage systems integration.
• Communicate technical concepts and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
• Engage with the research community and technology developers to inform product development.
• Manage technical projects and act as a subject matter expert in assigned areas.

Required Skills

• Expertise in training ML, DL, or LLM models.
• Strong background in data science and statistics.
• Experience with IT solutions and automation.
• Proven ability to design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems.
• Experience in software development and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Statistics from an ABET accredited program with 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field with 1-3 years of experience.
• Background in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in engineering design or project management for utility-scale solar, wind, energy storage, or transmission.
• Expertise in vetting and integrating AI applications.
