Description

You will manage MQ Queue Manager and ITP Servers in Germany while collaborating with global middleware and development teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer MQ Servers according to change requests.
• Resolve operational issues identified in incident records.
• Generate performance metrics and usage statistics for MQ Series infrastructure.
• Coordinate with technical and application staff to plan and implement new MQ Series solutions.
• Support decentral administration tools including MO71 and MQGem.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in z/OS mainframe systems programming.
• Deep knowledge of MQ Series.
• Proficiency with z/OS, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, and JCL.
• Experience with Linux and its associated user interfaces and tools.
• Strong problem determination and technical communication skills.
• Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Knowledge of Java, SQL, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred Skills

• Rexx and CLIST skills.
• Linux Shell scripting.
