Description

Develop and maintain a large, mature Ruby on Rails application and supporting software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clean, efficient Ruby code for a suite of aligned products.
• Design, implement, and maintain gRPC and REST APIs.
• Manage complex, multi-schema PostgreSQL databases.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure high software quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails within a business environment.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL database management.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing APIs.
• Solid understanding of web application architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL or gRPC/Protobuf.
• Experience using AWS cloud-computing components like Lambda and API Gateway.
