Description

You will build and enhance laboratory workflows within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and integrated services to support clinical lab operations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize commercial off-the-shelf LIMS platforms to support order-to-result workflows.
• Integrate LIMS with enterprise systems and services to create seamless business processes.
• Design and maintain an ecosystem of services and applications that provide value-add functionality.
• Lead technical design discussions and create implementation artifacts to guide development.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for regular releases and provide second-tier production support.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of enterprise software development using agile frameworks, test automation, and continuous integration.
• 8+ years of experience developing production software in Java.
• 8+ years of experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs using RAML, Swagger, or OpenAPI.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with data modeling, schemas (relational, XML/JSON), and data management (relational and NoSQL).
• 5+ years of experience customizing commercial Laboratory Information Management Systems.
• 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services.
• 3+ years of experience working with regulated software in healthcare or financial sectors.
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns including microservices, serverless, or CQRS.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LabVantage LIMS.
