Description

You will design and build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and distributed systems on Microsoft Azure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to operationalize models and integrate MLOps practices.
• Design cloud-native applications and support distributed systems on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and ensure software quality through testing.
• Own features from design through production support, including real-time data streaming and message queues.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Python Development and Backend Development.
• Strong expertise in REST API Development using FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and NoSQL Databases (Cosmos DB preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Knowledge of Real-Time Data Streaming, Message Queues, and Git/GitHub Workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Core Java, React, or Angular.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning Production Systems, MLOps, or Operations Research.
