Description

You will develop and maintain serverless workflows powering media operations for a content distribution platform built on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Build and deploy infrastructure using AWS CDK (Python).
• Develop media processing workflows, including video transformation, transcoding, and watermarking, integrating services like AWS MediaConvert.
• Write clean, testable Python code adhering to best practices and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within a distributed production system environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Python 3.11+.
• Strong experience with AWS services: Lambda, Step Functions, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, EventBridge, CloudWatch.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven design patterns.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with REST APIs and asynchronous processing patterns.
• Experience with testing frameworks, including pytest.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
