Software Engineer

You build and maintain large-scale backend infrastructure serving numerous users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable backend services and APIs.
• Help partners integrate applications on AR/VR devices, including Quest headsets and RayBan Glasses.
• Work with partner technical teams to integrate with Partner APIs and services.
• Develop a deep understanding of Reality Labs platforms and underlying APIs.
• Ensure documentation and best practices are created for partner collaboration.

Required Skills

• 7-13 years of backend development experience building and scaling infrastructure.
• Experience in Java, C++, and/or PHP.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and API endpoints.
• Proficiency with SQL and No-SQL databases.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Proven analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of scalable data pipelines and ETL pipelines.
• Expertise in debugging and maintaining scalable services and APIs.
