Description

You will design and build core backend software components and APIs to improve Windows developer productivity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs in Python to increase developer productivity.
• Develop core backend software components using Python, Rust, and Hack.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high reliability and stability.
• Analyze and optimize system resources, including compute, bandwidth, storage, and memory.
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to debug performance issues across the stack.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience building large-scale infrastructure applications.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Windows development.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality, reliable software.
• Experience improving system stability through testing, monitoring, and proactive code changes.
• Ability to use data and analysis to diagnose technical problems and implement solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience building large-scale infrastructure applications.
• Experience with 3D computer vision or computer graphics.
