Description

You will re-architect a monolithic .NET MVC and SQL Server application into a modern, event-driven microservices architecture using Go, AWS, and Svelte.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices in Go applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Modernize legacy .NET MVC/SQL Server systems into distributed, event-driven architectures.
• Deploy and manage cloud services within AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway).
• Implement event-driven systems utilizing Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, and EventBridge.
• Design RESTful APIs and gRPC services while supporting frontend integration with Svelte.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in software engineering with Go and microservices development.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud-native services.
• Solid SQL knowledge, specifically PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Experience with event-driven systems, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Background in Agile SDLC, CQRS, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with modernizing .NET MVC/SQL Server applications.
• Proficiency in containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform, Cypress, or authentication providers (Okta, Auth0).
• Familiarity with serverless architecture patterns.
