Description

You will develop embedded Windows applications and integrate scientific equipment into broader systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug embedded Windows applications using Python and C/C++.
• Implement multi-core, threading, and process techniques to optimize software performance.
• Integrate scientific equipment into systems and verify functionality through testing and data analysis.
• Use lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers for hardware-software debugging.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and document ambiguous requirements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with embedded Windows and Linux application development.
• Hands-on experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Strong debugging skills for mixed hardware-software systems and mixed-language programs.
• Practical understanding of multi-core, threading, and process techniques.
• Ability to conduct data analysis to identify trends and resolve technical issues.
• Experience working within Scrum or Agile methodologies.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to work onsite in Minneapolis, MN.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of LiDAR and laser technology.
• Experience with optics or atmospheric modeling.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and higher-level System of Systems integration.
