You will optimize crawling, indexing, and query capabilities within the IBM Watson Foundation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage crawling, indexing, and query capabilities to meet customer requirements using IBM Watson.
• Adhere to established coding, versioning, and workflow automation standards.
• Handle change, incident, vulnerability, and problem management workflows.
• Participate in periodic on-call support for High/Critical incidents related to search engine applications and infrastructure.
• Communicate technical decisions and their underlying rationale to stakeholders and development teams.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience with enterprise search technologies.
• Hands-on experience with search engines such as IBM Watson, Solr, ElasticSearch, or OpenSearch.
• Experience administering and supporting applications hosted on Linux infrastructure.
• Ability to work with cloud databases and complex, scalable environments.
• Proven technical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience adhering to formal versioning and incident management protocols.
• Degree in any field.
