Description

You will design and develop embedded software for next-generation vehicle electronic systems and hardware platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for vehicle systems, including bootloaders, device drivers, kernels, and upgrade mechanisms.
• Support hardware teams with component selection, schematic reviews, board bring-up, and debugging activities.
• Contribute to base software (BSP), MCAL, diagnostics, and debugging tools.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to develop test software for ECU bring-up, validation, and production testing.
• Build and maintain development infrastructure and automated testing environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience in HPC embedded environments.
• Deep knowledge of embedded software architecture and development processes.
• Expertise in functional safety (ISO 26262) and its software implementation.
• Experience designing complex embedded systems, including system topologies and component interfaces.
• Proficiency in real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software frameworks.
• Strong understanding of vehicle EE architectures and automotive development lifecycles.
• Experience supporting software through the product lifecycle, including mass production.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, and HTML5.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of connected vehicle infotainment and communication software systems.
