Description

You will develop and maintain embedded software for vehicle systems, owning the lifecycle from design through mass production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and design embedded software for vehicle systems, including bootloaders, device drivers, kernels, and upgrade mechanisms.
• Assist hardware teams with component selection, schematic reviews, bring-up, and debugging.
• Build and maintain development infrastructure, including automated testing environments.
• Work with contract manufacturers to develop test software for ECU bring-up, validation, and production testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Java.
• Deep knowledge of embedded software architecture and development processes.
• Expertise in functional safety (ISO 26262) implementation.
• Strong understanding of vehicle EE architectures and automotive development practices.
• Experience designing complex embedded systems, including defining system topologies.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded software frameworks.
• Experience supporting software through the product lifecycle, including mass production.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
