Description

You will design, implement, and debug datapath and Quality of Service (QoS) features for carrier-grade networking software across access, aggregation, metro, and mobile backhaul deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance networking platforms using C/C++, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement QoS, CoS, ACLs, and firewall logic within the networking dataplane.
• Debug complex issues in Unix/Linux environments using socket programming and IPC mechanisms.
• Collaborate with product management and testing teams to deliver high-quality solutions and support critical customer escalations.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of strong programming experience in C/C++ with deep debugging expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems, including socket programming and system-level development.
• Strong understanding of QoS, CoS, ACLs, and networking dataplane concepts.
• Knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, and BGP.
• Familiarity with Cisco IOS-XR, Nokia TMOS, or similar network operating systems.
• Experience with XGS/DNX (Jericho/Jericho2) platforms is an advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related engineering discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud architectures, distributed systems, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with testing automation and security-first design principles.
