Description

You will work with Engineering and Technical Services to debug and reproduce bug reports from MongoDB users.

Responsibilities

• Debug and reproduce bug reports from MongoDB users and escalate problems when necessary.
• Advise users on solutions and help them understand complex technical issues or mitigation options.
• Write code to expand diagnostic tools, contributing to team-developed electron apps.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development, focused on data management systems.
• Experience supporting production environments and/or diagnosing technical issues with end-users.
• Proficiency in Python, Typescript, Go, or C++.
• Exposure to distributed systems, consensus algorithms, or data replication.
• Ability to handle tickets with identifiable diagnostic signatures within 3 months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for global user and technical team interaction.
