Description

You will design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using Python and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy infrastructure using AWS CDK in Python.
• Develop media processing workflows including video transformation, transcoding, and watermarking.
• Integrate with media services such as AWS MediaConvert, Hybrik, and Nielsen encoding.
• Write clean, testable Python code and participate in code reviews.
• Maintain event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, and S3.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python 3.11+.
• Strong proficiency with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven design patterns.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous processing.
• Proficiency with pytest and Git version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with media processing services like Hybrik or Nielsen encoding.
